Carmel Brownies

1 pkg. German Chcolate Cake mix (any chocolate kind works, name brands seem to produce better results)
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup nuts (optional)
14 oz. carmels
1- 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 13X9 inch pan.
Melt carmels (after spending FOREVER opening them all) in 1/3 cup of the milk. Set aside to cool.
Combine cake mix, nuts, butter, and remaining milk.
Press 1/2 of the mixture into pan; bake 6 minutes.
Sprinkle chocolate chips on, then spread carmel mixture.
Crumble remaining cake mixture over carmel (seems like there's not enough, but don't worry).
Bak for 15-18 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes and refrigerate at least 1/2 hour.

***Caution!!!! If you like chocolate, and if you like carmel, you'll most likely be instantly addicted and consume most of these all by yourself!!!***
